The World Is Your Oyster.
Hi everyone and welcome back to my blog! Recently, me and my boyfriend have been talking about the possibility of him leaving Europe and moving to a base either in America or Asia. For those of you who don’t know, my boyfriend works with the Air Force and his time in Germany is almost up. He is due to leave Germany in 2020.
We had a long and serious talk about our future and we also decided on bases we want to go together and we came up with this list! (I am writing our list below in case any of you are PCSing and want suggestions/ideas on what bases to go to next)
State side:
- Utah
- Colorado
- Georgia
- North Carolina
International bases:
- Japan
- Hawaii
- Italy
- Alaska
- Portugal
At first, the thought of leaving Europe terrified me. My boyfriend suggested that in case he is ordered to go to a base outside of the European Union, we do a year of long distance and then I fly to where he is. But after living with him, I don’t think I can be apart from him that long.
So I did some thinking and I warmed up to the idea of living outside of Europe. Now, I get excited about living and travelling in a whole new different part of the world and experience this journey with him.
I wanted to go to Aviano, Italy because 1) I know the country by heart and 2) I have family living there so you can say I’ll still be in my comfort zone. But now, we are shooting for either Japan or Hawaii!
With the possibility of leaving Europe, I have been doing some thinking. As a European citizen, I took (and still take) living here for granted. I do love to travel of course, but I haven’t gotten around to see all the places I want to see. My plan was to live in Europe all my life and gradually cross off these places off my bucket list, but life got in the way and everything changed (not complaining!). So, wanderlust and slight panic kicked in and now I want to try and visit all the places I should have visited a long time ago!
Therefore, I did some brainstorming and came up with this list of all the countries and places I want to visit.
I also created a free printable for anyone who wants to create a bucket list of their own! Feel free to pin, share with your fellow traveller friends, or print it out! 💖 All I ask is that you do not redistribute this printable as your own. Simples! The printable is right below the one with my list on it. Enjoy!

Oh, and one last thing. I will be creating and writing a second blog post on my bucket list for places I want to visit in Germany. If you want to read my first one, click here!
To download the printable, just right click and save!

Whatever you decide, I will 1000% support you every step of the way <3 As I always say I'm so proud of how far you have come! But if you stay within Europe I'm definitely visiting!
Amazing
Thank you!
